Role Purpose
Are you an experienced and motivated engineer ready to play a key role in managing and improving vital Road Infrastructure Assets? We're looking for a skilled professional to join our Roads Asset Team and help deliver high quality, safe, and sustainable road maintenance works across the Scottish Borders.
Essential
- Educated to HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline or present evidence of comparable experience and training.
- SVQ Level 4 in a relevant discipline or willing to obtain within agreed timescales on appointment.
- RSTA Surface Dressing Certificate or willing to obtain within an agreed timescale on appointment.
- Membership of Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Highways and Transportation, or willing to obtain within agreed timescale on appointment.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
