Job Description Job Description Job Title: Support Worker - 2 Posts Waverley Residential Home, Galashiels Salary*: £14.37 - £15.10 per hour / £27,739.05 - £29,147.42 pro rata per annum Contract(s): Permanent Training: All training is provided. Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you! We focus on these five principles to provide excellent care through a well-structured, meaningful and person-centred approach. Both posts will be based in the Enhanced Dementia Unit within Waverley Residential Home. Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans. Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way. Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary. Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users’ medication, following relevant training.
