Job Description:

  • Location: Coldstream Area (Base at Kelso Community Hospital)
  • Hours: Multiple Hours (Please refer to Recruitment Profile)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn!
  • Training: All training is provided.
  • Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.

The Role:

  • Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
  • Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way.
  • Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
  • Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users’ medication, following relevant training.
