We are seeking someone to work across the Scottish Borders, to support individuals who have been through the criminal justice system to overcome barriers, build confidence and develop the skills needed to achieve sustainable employment outcomes. Through strong partnerships with employers and local agencies, you will create opportunities that change lives, strengthen communities and help reduce reoffending. This is a rewarding role for someone who is committed to social inclusion, who understands the challenges faced by people with convictions, and is passionate about helping individuals achieve independence and positive life outcomes. Essential
- Educated to relevant HNC/ SVQ level 3 or significant experience in a relevant field
- A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
