Are you passionate about supporting individuals with additional support needs to achieve their career goals?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Job Coach to join our DFN Project SEARCH team, assisting young adults with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence to take their first steps into the world of work.
What you'll do
- Help interns overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
- Support interns within workplace settings to develop independence and job skills.
- Deliver tailored coaching, mentoring and encouragement.
- Work with partners, including Borders College and NHS Borders to create opportunities leading to positive outcomes for interns.
- Engage with employer to create and maintain positive and inclusive work experiences.
- Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and support career development.
- Promote confidence, self-advocacy and workplace success.
