Hourly Rate: £14.75 - £15.96

Salary: £26,921.46 - £29,129.71 per annum full time equivalent

Hours: Up to 35 hours per week. Both full time or part time hours available.

Contract Duration: Permanent

Role Purpose\n

As part of an exciting initiative to strengthen Council Tax debt recovery, the successful candidate will initially be assigned to a dedicated recovery team until 31 March 2028. During this period, you will play a key role in supporting customers, ensuring appropriate recovery action is taken, and contributing to the effective collection of Council Tax. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a specialist area while developing skills that are transferable across the wider Customer Advice and Revenues Service. The roles will initially be homeworking positions, we have either full-time or part-time hours available. Working patterns will be agreed with successful candidates. Following the dedicated recovery project, successful candidates will become part of one of our Customer Advice and Support teams located across the Scottish Borders, providing a broad range of advice and support services to our customers.

At least 5 SCE Standard Grades at level 3 or above (or equivalent) including English.
