Role Purpose
Based at Eshiels Roads depot, SBC Roads Operations are looking for an enthusiastic individual to supervise and work within a team carrying out highly visible front line services. The successful applicant will lead a team undertaking specialist works such as slabbing, kerbing, blacktop and winter maintenance.

This job requires the post holder to support the provision of an efficient and effective service in accordance with predetermined schedules. The post holder should be qualified and/or specially trained. The role may include but is not restricted to Mechanical digging operations or to undertake as part of a team general roads maintenance including roads drainage, concreting, kerbing, blocking and blacktop works. Ensure that work is performed in a safe and responsible manner in compliance with the relevant risk assessment, for the duties/tasks. To respond to emergencies all year round and be required to be on standby rotas for summer and winter maintenance operations.
