Role Purpose

We are looking for motivated and technically minded Area Technical Assistants to join our Roads Asset Team in both the Teviot & Liddesdale Area and the Tweeddale Area (2 posts). These are key roles supporting the maintenance and management of the Council’s road infrastructure assets, ensuring our network remains safe and serviceable to meet the needs of road users across the Scottish Borders.

Essential

  • SVQ level 3 qualification in relevant roads related discipline or willing to obtain within 2 years.
  • SMSTS accreditation or willing to achieve within 2 years.
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
