Role Purpose

An excellent temporary development opportunity has arisen in Peebles Social Work, as Business Support Team Leader. The post is to provide line management support to the Peebles Social Work Business Support Team, encompassing both Children\'s and Adults services and will ensure both operational teams has efficient and effective business support in place. As a line manager you would oversee the daily operations of the team including prioritisation, delegation of workload and allocation of resources such as minute takers for a variety of meetings and updating Power of Attorney database for Scottish Borders. You will help to lead staff through change as we introduce digital transformations as well as ensuring daily activities are delivered. You would be responsible for the Line management of approximately 4 staff.

HNC/D in a related discipline, or other relevant qualification.
OR equivalent relevant experience, knowledge and skills necessary to undertake the role
