Role Purpose
The Active Travel and Transport Team are offering an exciting 9-month (minimum) part- or full-time secondment with our Team, leading the momentum behind our RIDONKULOUS Active Travel Behaviour Change Campaign. You will take the reins of a high-profile, fast-growing initiative that’s already made a real impact in communities over the past year. We’re looking for someone friendly, confident, and organised, with a genuine passion for active travel and community engagement—no prior experience required. In return, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a new service area, broaden your skills within the council, and work alongside a supportive, energetic team bursting with ideas. If you’re ready to try something new and make a difference, we’d love to have you on board.
Essential
- Relevant work experience, including project management, coordination, working with communities including schools, active travel, behaviour change, communications and/or marketing.
