The predicted salary is between 9 - 10 £ per hour.

Location: Main Office – Units 9-10 Bridgend Business Park, Dingwall, IV15 9SL. Overnight respite location – The Haven Suites.

Salary: Hourly rate between 7am-11pm - £13.45, flat rate during sleeping £97.68 or awakening hours (between 11pm-7am) £115.20. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Shift Patterns: Full 18 hour Overnight (Sleeping only) 3pm – 9am.

Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse children, young people, and adults? Do you want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and their families? A-ND is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Neurodiversity Support Workers (NDSW) to join our team in Dingwall, Highlands.

The Role

  • To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support during overnight respite stays for neurodiverse individuals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Provide overnight supervision and support tailored to individual needs, including personal care, emotional reassurance and personal outcomes.
  • Follow individual personal plans, risk assessments and communication needs.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care.
  • Support individuals with transitions, bedtime routines, and morning preparations.
  • Monitor and respond to health needs, including administering medication (if trained and authorized).

Requirements

  • Preferred: Valid driver’s license, although non-drivers will be considered if all other criteria are met.
  • Essential: A passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. Must register with SSSC.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications, although full training will be provided.
