Full-time and Part-time positions available

£14.22 – 14.92 per hour (£27,362 - £28,709 pro rata, inclusive of £3,120 island allowance)

£100.80 per sleepover

Our Orkney team is dedicated to empowering autistic people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives since 2013. Currently supporting 8 autistic people in Kirkwall, we support people to engage in the activities they love and to be a valued part of the community. Join our team and help us grow! Over the coming months we are hoping to expand our support offering and we’d love to have you on board.

Our Autism Practitioners work with a commitment to our values of Collaboration, Compassion, Change Making, and Contribution. Whether you’re experienced or new to social care, you’ll receive extensive training, support, and opportunities to grow your skills.

As an Autism Practitioner, you will work across Housing Support & Outreach services to:

  • Develop personalised support plans and build positive relationships.
  • Support individuals in making choices, exploring interests, and to live independently.
  • Partner with families and healthcare professionals to focus on each individual’s goals.

  • Long, scenic walks
