Autism Practitioners (Support Workers) - West of Scotland Area Services

Full Time, Part Time and Nightshift positions available.

Starting at £13.45 per hour, rising to £13.67 after probation. Opportunity to progress to £14.15 at your own pace. Nightshift Rate: Starting at £13.97 per hour, rising to £14.14 after engagement. Opportunity to progress to £14.85.

Please note that due to our location, access to reliable personal transport is highly recommended, as public transport options are limited.

We are expanding our services in Helensburgh and have 2 new outreach services! Our new outreach services support one young autistic male who has a passion for lego building, gardening and going to the gym and one young autistic female who is very creative and enjoys participating in art and craft activities.

Our Helensburgh team also provide 24 hour support to 3 young, autistic adults who love being active, having a busy social life and keeping connections within their local community. Each person has a person-centred support plan incorporating consistency and structure specific to their needs.

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting people to achieve their aspirations and lead fulfilling lives:

  • Developing and implementing personalised support plans tailored to the unique needs of each person.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
  • Supporting individuals to participate in activities they enjoy, such as day trips, attending local events, shopping, and going on holiday.
  • Encouraging and supporting people to live as independently as possible, including developing life skills and providing personal care when needed.
  • Collaborating with each person, their family, support network, and health professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to ensure each person's life goals and aspirations are always at the heart of their care.

Desirable to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a social care setting. Preferred to hold a full UK Driving License for manual vehicles. Be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings.
