Autism Practitioners (Support Workers) Ridgepark, Lanark Pay Scale: Starting at Β£12.60 per hour, rising to Β£12.82 after probation. Opportunity to progress to Β£13.30 at your own pace Full-Time, Part-Time positions available, including small contracts Reference: SA804 As we welcome a new supported person into Ridgepark service, were looking for a calm, confident Autism Practitioner who can help them settle in smoothly, whilst keeping things steady and positive for those who already live here. If you thrive on building trust, creating calm and can juggle change with consistency, wed love to have you on our team! Demonstrable experience in supporting people through significant transitions would be desirable. Our dedicated team of Autism Practitioners provide personalised support to each person, ensuring their comfort, safety, and holistic well-being. With compassion and respect, we strive to create a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive and be independent. Located near Lanark town centre, Ridgepark House is a transitional assessment service supporting 8 (soon to be 9) autistic adults to develop their skills for the future. Each individual has a personalised programme of support incorporating consistency and structure specific to their needs. Some activities that the individuals participate in are: – Long scenic walks – Swimming – Bowling – Baking – Gardening – Other planned trips and visits to places of interest About the Role: As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting people to achieve their aspirations and lead fulfilling lives. As part of your role, you will be required to undertake shift work, including weekends and evenings.
