Pay Scale: Starting at £13.61 per hour, rising to £13.83 after probation. Opportunity to progress to £14.31 at your own pace. Pay detail is inclusive of Rural Allowance.
We’re currently recruiting Autism Practitioners to support a good humoured young gentleman at Clannalba. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by supporting someone to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
About the Role:
This young person enjoys interacting, spending time outdoors, playing ball and on the swings, going on shopping trips, spotting lorries, eating chocolate and having a laugh! His current support team describe him as having an infectious laugh and a great personality! He enjoys going at his own pace and really values having a close relationship with his family!
This person responds best to a trusted team who focus on his support, who show resilience, offer patience, understanding, compassion and a relaxing, low arousal environment and requires full support with personal care.
About You:
You’ll play a key role in helping him engage in the things he enjoys most, supporting his wellbeing, and working closely with a wider team that includes his family and other health professionals. This is an active role which includes personal care.
We’re looking for fun, enthusiastic, and adaptable people who can follow the lead of the person you support. You’ll be calm under pressure and naturally collaborative. If you have a laid-back personality, a proactive mindset, and a caring nature, you could be a perfect fit.
