We currently have a vacancy for a school leaver to a four year graduate apprenticeship in Software Development BSc (Hons) delivered in partnership with Strathclyde University, beginning in September 2025.
You will be working at Pulsion Technology whilst we support you through your degree. As a software company, we can provide experience of a variety of software development projects in a variety of technologies including cloud, mobile and AI. This variety makes it a great place to learn. As well as this, you will gain academic learning as part of your degree.
You will be working alongside colleagues with a wide range of experience in software development in a company that specialises in software delivery. We are involved in all aspects of software development from discovery and requirements specification to design, implementation and testing. We operate an agile development process and you will be involved in every part of that process from client interaction to delivery of a project. We also work with artificial intelligence and you will gain some experience of this emerging technology.
You will learn some of the latest techniques in modern application development and delivery as we are an AWS and Azure certified partner.
Qualifications or Qualities Required:
- You will typically have at least four Highers at grade B, including either Mathematics, Computing Science, or Physics, and preferably National 5 English at grade C or above.
- You should be enthusiastic with a strong interest in IT and software technology and be willing to work hard to forge a career in the software industry.
- You should have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
