Overview

MA Business Administration apprenticeship in partnership with Skills Development Scotland (SDS). The apprenticeship offers a SCQF Level 6 qualification in Business Administration, with a potential pathway into a permanent Programme Administrator role within the National Training Programmes Directorate of SDS. We welcome applications from people from underrepresented groups such as ethnic minorities and individuals with disabilities. Location: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating meetings and supporting event planning
  • Preparing documents and reports
  • Managing communications with partners and stakeholders
  • Working across teams within the National Training Programmes Directorate to understand business processes, administration systems and record keeping

Qualifications

  • National 5 qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Demonstrable interest in business administration through school, personal projects, or other learning
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Good communication skills and the ability to adapt to a business environment
  • Honesty and integrity; good interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player; adaptable to change
  • Willingness to learn and complete the apprenticeship programme

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Not currently have an apprenticeship in business administration or an equivalent qualification
  • Aged 24 years or younger on 06 October 2025; care-experienced or disabled applicants may be eligible up to 29 years old on 06 October 2025
  • Must have the continuous right to work in the UK for the 24-month duration of the apprenticeship
