Remit are recruiting on behalf of Arr Craib, who are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join their team as Heavy Vehicle Service Technician Apprentices.

Responsibilities
- Understanding of light vehicle systems and components.
- How to use diagnostic tools and technical manuals
- Problem-solving and fault-finding techniques
- Effective communication with team members and customers
- Time management and professional workplace conduct.
A genuine interest in the automotive and engineering industries, coupled with a curious mindset and a strong passion for problem-solving, is equally valued alongside academic achievements.
Qualifications
Must have 5 qualifications at National 5 level, these must include Maths, English and a Science. Predicted grades will be taken into consideration.
Training
On-the-job training will be carried out in the employer’s workshop alongside your workplace mentor.
Off-the-job training will be typically a one-week block release at college.
You will build portfolios to record training, experience and skills gained throughout your apprenticeship. You will be expected to self-study and with the combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, you will be working towards the Modern Apprenticeship Framework standards for Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, including Core Skills.
