Overview
In this role you support the offshore wind O&M team at Dogger Bank, spanning from commissioning through long-term operations. You’ll own turbine acceptance and handover in the early phase, then shift to maintenance strategy, fault diagnosis, and performance optimisation to maximise energy output and asset reliability. It’s a hands-on, collaborative position blending offshore field support with data-driven engineering, working with OEMs, contractors and internal stakeholders to raise standards and drive continuous improvement. This role offers lifecycle exposure and a meaningful impact on one of the world’s largest offshore wind projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead turbine acceptance, commissioning and handover activities ensuring compliance with standards across the fleet and provide on-site support
- Develop and maintain a technical knowledge base to aid problem-solving and input to service providers for analysis
- Design and implement service quality walkdown check sheets and inspect asset condition, safety and performance
- Track engineering defects, collaborate with OEMs and stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate onsite maintenance activities with specialist contractors and internal/external stakeholders to uphold safety and performance standards
Key requirements
- HND level in engineering or relevant wind turbine/rotational plant experience
- Experience in technical support delivery including refurbishment management for major components and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of machinery safety legislation and safe systems of work implementation
- Strong IT proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate and Python; ability to write clear procedures and technical reports
- Ability to interpret data acquisition and perform analysis
