b Overview /b p As an SHW Advisor, you will provide proactive safety, health and wellbeing and CDM guidance across Transmission projects, with emphasis on development, design, planning and pre-construction. You will work with project teams and stakeholders to identify and manage SHW risks throughout the lifecycle and support safe handover into delivery. The role supports a healthy, safe workplace and compliant delivery of complex infrastructure work. A key part of the role is applying practical judgment to influence design risk management. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li car or car allowance /li li performance-related bonus /li li private healthcare discounts /li li gym membership discounts /li li online GP and 24/7 counselling /li li Cycle to Work scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide proactive SHW and CDM advice to Transmission project teams and directorates across development, design, planning and pre-construction /li li Assist with compliance of CDM Regulations, Safe Systems of Work, and SHW Management System requirements /li li Develop strategies to manage interfaces, temporary works, surveys, ground investigations and site clearance during construction /li li Complete assurance activities on and off site, monitor SHW performance and support incident reporting and learning initiatives /li li Support design risk management and Designer Risk Assessments, Pre-Construction Information and construction-phase planning /li li Engage with designers, duty holders and contractors to promote safe delivery and robust handover into delivery and construction /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience applying SHW and CDM across construction or infrastructure projects /li li Qualification in occupational safety, construction safety, CDM, or design risk management or related SHW discipline /li li Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations /li li Experience supporting design risk management and safe systems of work /li li Strong communication and stakeholder management skills /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li stakeholder management /li li relationship building /li li SHW and CDM knowledge /li li design risk management /li li pre-construction and early works planning /li /ul
