Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our Inveralmond House office, Perth.Salary: 44,000 - 65,900 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options availableThe roleAs a Risk & Assurance Assurance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Thermal business in establishing, conducting, monitoring, and reporting on risk and assurance activities.Ensuring risks are managed and the business operates in a fair and ethical manner, remaining fully compliant with regulatory, legal and stakeholder obligations aligned to the Systems on Internal Control.Undertaking assurance reviews to verify obligations are being met in areas of risk across the business and producing and communicating accurate reports that are reflective of findings.Assisting in the understanding, interpretation, and communication of regulatory and legal ‘Rules & Codes’ relevant to the Thermal business.Ability to learn, challenge and develop risk and assurance frameworks with strong data analysis, investigation and presentation skills gained in a data-driven environment.A good understanding of how controls and assurance outcomes influence wider business risk, bringing a proactive, forward-looking perspective.Strong attention to detail and confidence using a range of IT systems and software packages, including SharePoint, Power BI, Workiva and the Microsoft Office suite.The ability to translate business requirements into meaningful data insights, presenting information clearly and simply to support informed decision-making across the business.About SSESSE’s purpose is to provide energy needed today while building a better world of energy for tomorrow.
