Overview
In this Finance Systems Accountant role, you will advise on group-wide system development projects impacting Finance, with a focus on FCCS/NR within the Oracle EPM estate. You will support the full project lifecycle from analysis to implementation and embed ongoing day-to-day support in the Finance Systems Team. You’ll drive functional change, resolve system issues, and ensure governance and data integrity across finance platforms. Responsibilities
- Deliver functional change for FCCS/NR based on project requirements
- Resolve technical and functional system incidents and issues
- Support data integration, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Maintain governance, controls, and procedures across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture finance requirements and deliver training materials
- Analyze complex processes and system architecture to stay aligned with FCCS/NR developments
- Provide support for the Master Data Management tool EDM (Oracle EDM)
- Assist with user guidance and training materials
Key requirements
- Solid background as a Finance Systems Accountant with FCCS/NR and/or HFM experience
- Experience in GL model design, dimensionality design, forms, reports, dashboards, and Smart View
- Knowledge of business rules, calculations, Groovy scripting, andData Management integrations
- Experience with EDM, Viewpoints & Workflows, and adding dimensions (EDM)
- OCI and OIC technical and process setup
- Understanding of financial control and governance frameworks
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex issues
- High proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)
- Oracle/Hyperion degree certification is desirable
