The role As a Contract Manager within the Renewables business, you will lead procurement and commercial activities across allocated Onshore Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects.

This includes managing end-to-end procurement and delivering pre and post-contract commercial support to ensure successful project delivery.

You will demonstrate strong commercial leadership, driving value, innovation and customer-focused outcomes, while embedding consistent processes and strategies that optimise total cost of ownership across the project lifecycle.

You will Own and lead end-to-end procurement activities for allocated projects, including preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of bids and negotiation of contracts through to execution.

Develop and implement procurement and commercial strategies aligned with project objectives, risk profile and delivery timelines across Onshore Wind, Solar and BESS technologies.

Provide robust pre- and post-contract commercial support to internal stakeholders, ensuring effective contract management, governance and risk mitigation.

Deliver accurate cost reporting, forecasting and budgetary control throughout the full project lifecycle.

Support the development of cost estimates in line with project stage and maturity, ensuring alignment with internal governance requirements.

Contribute to due diligence activities for prospective project acquisitions, providing commercial input, cost insight and risk assessment.

Support the implementation of approved Category Management strategies, ensuring consistency, supply chain optimisation and value delivery across projects.

You have A degree in Quantity Surveying, Procurement or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrable experience in procurement and commercial management within infrastructure, energy or large-scale capital projects.

Experience across the full contract lifecycle, including tendering, negotiation, contract award and post-contract administration.

Strong capability in cost management, including estimating, cost reporting and forecasting across project lifecycles.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear commercial insight to stakeholders, supporting decision-making in a fast-paced project environment.

Familiarity with industry-standard contract forms (e. g.
