Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver civil engineering solutions across large transmission and substation projects
- Support engineering design from concept to construction and commissioning (site development, earthworks, drainage, access, infrastructure)
- Define engineering scopes, prepare technical specifications, evaluate tenders, manage specialist services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle
- Contribute to design reviews, engineering assurance, HAZID and risk assessment activities
- Promote safety culture via CDM compliance and industry best practices, identifying engineering risks and opportunities
Key requirements
- Degree, HND, or equivalent in Civil Engineering or substantial relevant industry experience
- Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and CDM Regulations
- Experience delivering civil engineering solutions for major infrastructure/utilities/energy projects
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles including earthworks, drainage, geotechnical and structural engineering
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders
- Ability to manage technical risk and support engineering decision-making
- For Senior Civil Engineer, leadership and mentoring experience (preferred)
