Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations : Havant, Reading, Glasgow and PerthSalary: 50,964 - 60,899 and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | The roleThe IT Asset & Billing Analyst works within the IT Asset and Billing team, focusing on IT planning, expenditure and cost management.This position requires collaboration with Service Delivery teams and partners to facilitate the operation of IT Projects including portfolio and value stream level reporting, cost governance, assurance within GTSYou willSupporting the day-to-day coordination of activities across the IT Asset & Billing team, including portfolio-level reporting, project cost controls, and cost management processes.Providing financial management support for IT projects and run costs, including budget development, investment planning, forecasting, risks, variance analysis and transfersMonitor the portfolio of projects and programmes from inception to closure, ensuring that delivery is on time, within budget, minimising potential risks and assessing to make sure it meets all strategic objectivesEnsuring project costs are appropriately classified, recorded, and governed in line with accounting policies, including Capex and Revex requirementsUsing portfolio cost reporting to assess portfolio health, identify areas for improvement, and support appropriate interventions/corrective actions.You Have• A strong background in project/programme cost management, including forecasting, and investment planning, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and concisely to customers and wider stakeholder groups.• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, combined with strong analytical capability and the ability to translate data into actionable insight to support decision making.Experience of Capex and Revex management, cost governance, and investment reporting• The confidence to take ownership of issues and requests, with the ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.• A strong team focus, with the ability to manage priorities, support new demands, and identify opportunities to improve processes.About SSESSE’s purpose is to provide energy needed today while building a better world of energy for tomorrow.
