Join our team as an Operations Resource Manager! Are you an experienced people manager with a strong operational background? We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Resource Team Manager also known as an Internal Resource Manager to lead a team of up to 25 field-based staff who deliver essential infrastructure projects, including new connections, reinforcement works, and network restoration across low to high voltage systems (up to 33,000 volts).
You Will:
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet regulatory standards.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Manage team performance across safety, compliance, training, and welfare, using internal systems to monitor and report progress.
- Drive productivity improvements while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Handle core people management responsibilities such as absence, holidays, and resource planning to ensure delivery targets are met.
You Will Have:
- Proven experience in managing operational teams, ideally in a field-based or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to performance management, with confidence in using data and IT systems to drive results.
