The role
- We're looking for a Regional Project Manager to lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineers, fostering a high‑performance culture and support their professional growth.
- You will oversee and manage a portfolio of projects across London and South East England, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Take accountability for the financial performance of the project portfolio, managing budgets, margins and commercial reporting in line with Company requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, intervening to resolve issues and implementing contingency plans where necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and end users, acting as the senior point of contact for escalations and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure all projects comply with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) regulations and company safety standards, demonstrating visible leadership in safety culture.
You have
- A proven track record in project management, ideally gained within construction, HVAC, lighting, building services or a related sector – we value relevant experience over a specific technical background.
- A formal qualification in project management (such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable, though demonstrable experience of successfully delivering complex projects will be equally considered.
- Experience of leading and managing teams, with the ability to inspire, coach and hold people accountable to deliver results.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, margins and programme performance.
- An understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) would be advantageous, though you do not need to be technically proficient – what matters is the ability to lead the team that delivers them.
