This is an exciting opportunity for a Network Performance Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of network performance data. The role focuses particularly on the Interruptions Incentive Scheme (IIS) and NAFIRS (National Fault and Interruption Reporting Scheme), covering both planned and unplanned outages. You will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, offering excellent exposure across the business while developing both technical expertise and professional relationships.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills who can tailor their approach to different audiences and present complex information clearly and effectively. A strong attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.

  • Weekly Reporting: Lead weekly Network Performance reports, including auditing, correcting and providing feedback on HV and LV NAFIRS data, ensuring compliance with Ofgem requirements.
  • Monthly Reporting & KPIs: Produce monthly reports, conduct audits, provide feedback and support to Control staff, Dispatch, CCC teams, management, and regional teams.
  • NAFIRS & IIS Data Assurance: Ensure integrity of NAFIRS data and support accurate IIS reporting through audit checks and validation.
  • Systems & Process Development: Support improvements to systems and processes through testing and implementation.
  • HSE Reporting – Reg 31 & 32: Manage submission process in line with ESQCR requirements.
  • Planned Supply Interruptions Reporting: Ensure data is accurately reported, validated and audited prior to submission to Ofgem.
  • Guaranteed Standards (GS): Ensure GS is correctly applied and reported.

You have:

  • Strong understanding of DNO operations and Ofgem regulation
  • Knowledge of Ofgem price controls and IIS
  • Experience in auditing, reporting and compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies such as Ofgem
  • Knowledge of safety rules, policies and compliance requirements
