Base Location: Portsmouth. You’ll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of these locations.

Salary: £30,684 - £36,666 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role:

Join SSEN Distribution as an Administrator and become a key part of our operational support team. You'll coordinate a wide range of administrative activities, support customers and colleagues, and help ensure our business processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.

You will:

  • Provide administrative support to operational teams, customers and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of business activities.
  • Coordinate and process key business documentation, reports and regulatory submissions, maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices and support supplier and procurement activities while maintaining financial controls.
  • Monitor work programmes, resource availability and operational data, producing reports and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

You have:

  • Experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, problem solving and delivering high-quality service.
