Base Location: You will be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Perth, Glasgow or Reading.

The role involves:
- Leading the execution of in-year people plans, in partnership with corporate HR partners including Learning & Talent, Recruitment and Reward.
- Helping shape the long-term, strategic people plans aligned to growth ambitions.
- Leading Organisation Design and Strategic Workforce Planning activities with client groups to optimise performance.
- Leading Talent and Succession planning activities within Directorates ensuring robust talent pipelines for all critical and leadership roles.
- Providing business leaders with guidance, support, and advice on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including resourcing, reward, engagement, organisational design, change management, and learning and development.
- Partnering with senior leadership teams to create conditions for business to deliver their best performance and build a culture focusing on inclusion and collaboration.
You should have:
- Commercial focus with substantial HR generalist experience, and the ability to adopt a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement long-term plans linked to business performance goals.
- Ability to make sound judgment-based decisions underpinned by strong ethical standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels, including senior leadership.
- A structured and organised approach, with the capability to work swiftly to meet key deliverables while supporting and influencing multiple stakeholders.
