We are looking for an Operations Manager/Internal Resource Manager to join our team. As an Internal Resource Manager, you’ll be responsible for a team of up to 20 operational industrial staff who deliver new connections, reinforcement works and network restoration at low voltage and up to 33,000 volts.
You will:
- Manage a team of industrial staff ensuring great customer service performance while meeting and exceeding customer and regulator expectations.
- Ensure all requirements are met such as guaranteed standards, regulatory reporting through the SSEN IT systems, excellent customer service and communication throughout the delivery process.
- Monitor performance of SHE, welfare, compliance, team capabilities and the training portfolio of your team by tracking, monitoring and managing this daily.
- Look to improve productivity while ensuring work is completed and recorded to a high standard.
- Oversee team areas such as absence, holidays and capability to ensure enough staff are available to meet the programme of work.
You have:
- Experience of managing a team.
- Industry knowledge of how a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) operates and generates revenue and incentives within the current price control period.
- Technical knowledge of electricity distribution or a similar market sector along with an awareness of the key stakeholders and customers involved in electricity distribution.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to communicate with people at all levels and ensure work is always progressing.
- Competence in IT skills to review data to assess performance and produce presentations for rolling out vital information to your team.
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. The company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel. A valid driving licence is essential.
