We are looking for experienced Social Workers/Senior Practitioners to carry out assessments of prospective foster families and adoptive families who will care for children and young people unable to live with their birth family.
In addition to preparing and assessing prospective adopters/foster carers, you will be involved in linking and matching of children and young people to prospective adoptive parents and supporting families up until the adoption order is granted.
Safeguarding outcomes for fostered and adopted children will be at the heart of your practice. As a self-employed worker with Scottish Adoption and Fostering (SAF), you will be part of our fantastic team of professionals working in a child centred way to create the best outcomes.
We would particularly welcome applications from assessors who can work in Borders, Fife and Glasgow and surrounding areas.
