Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to drive growth across both new and reconditioned pallet sales, while developing long-term customer partnerships and supporting procurement opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident relationship-builder who enjoys identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and customer relationships
  • Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profit targets
  • Develop existing accounts through contracts, stock holding agreements, and value-added solutions
  • Work closely with customers to gather forecast information and support operational planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Planning, Commercial, and Site Operations
  • Support promotional and networking activities, including LinkedIn and industry engagement
  • Monitor market trends, legislation, and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate CRM and customer interaction records

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at Director level
  • Organised, proactive, and results-driven
  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, packaging, or a related sector is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong customer relationships
