We are looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias, ideally with experience in high‑volume manufacturing or sawmilling environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly engineering team, supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of 11 operational lines across our three Melton sites.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform reactive maintenance and contribute to proactive problem‑solving on machinery.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and stock levels.
- Collaborate with production management to identify efficiency improvements.
- Share technical knowledge and best practice with machine operators.
- Support installation of new equipment and systems.
- Carry out fabrication and repair work as required.
- Interpret and work from electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings and specifications.
About You:
You are a highly driven and solution‑focused individual with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve machine issues in a fast‑paced environment. Ideally, you will have experience with:
- Electrical systems (essential).
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems (preferred).
- Manufacturing or sawmilling equipment (preferred).
You take pride in your professionalism and communication skills, and you are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are able to juggle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.
