Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday and one in four Saturdays

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering function, driving plant reliability, safety, and performance. You’ll oversee mechanical and electrical teams, deliver an effective PPM strategy, and play a key role in improving uptime and OEE. Working closely with Production and Site Leadership, you’ll ensure engineering supports operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead health & safety across all engineering activities
  • Develop and manage PPM schedules
  • Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and OEE
  • Analyse breakdowns and implement root cause solutions
  • Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams
  • Manage contractors, spares, and engineering budgets
  • Drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime

About You

  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
  • HNC/HND (desirable)
  • Experience in manufacturing/production environments
  • Proven leadership of engineering teams
  • Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge
  • Experience with PPM and continuous improvement
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
