The Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and fault finding safely
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Work with PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and control panels
- Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
- Support installation and commissioning of equipment
- Identify and implement reliability improvements
About You
- Time-served Electrical Apprentice
- 18th Edition qualification (desirable)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong fault‑finding skills (PLCs, inverters, control systems)
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Proactive, team‑focused, and safety‑conscious
