Reporting to: Head of IT
The Role: Based at our Earlston office, you will form part of the Group’s central IT Department. You will assist our IT teams with the day-to-day management, procurement and administration of IT equipment and contracts across the BSW Group. This key role is responsible for ensuring users across the BSW Group are equipped to perform in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of IT equipment for users across the BSW Group.
- Raising and managing IT Purchase orders.
- Management, issue and tracking of IT assets across the Group.
- Support and management of the businesses mobile phone, landline and broadband connections including user support and fault logging.
- Communicating with suppliers.
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks.
About You:
This role is ideal for an experienced Administrator. An interest in IT is desirable but not essential. You must be an effective and confident communicator, who is highly organised and can manage a diverse workload. In addition, you’ll have:
- Minimum GCSE, Standard Grade, National 5 at grades 4 – 9 /or above.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages including intermediate excel.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to influence successful business outcomes and build relationships.
- Be able to deliver to deadlines.
- Proactive attitude to promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to group sites as required.
