The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

Based: Cargo, Carlisle – CA6 4BA or Beattock DG10 8QU. Full‑time / Permanent. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. An excellent opportunity to progress your career in Production Planning and Logistics. The role will be based in Carlisle and will serve as a key member of the Planning, Supply Chain & Logistics Team. You will act as a central link between Harvesting Managers, on‑site operations, and Supply Chain Coordinators, planning the use and optimisation of harvesting equipment across multiple harvesting sites. Option to be based in Beattock depending on candidate location.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate operational needs of the business to site management and supervisory teams on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Determine manpower and equipment required to cover production demand.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Coordinate the production workflow.
  • Plan and manage fuel requirements to support machinery operation.
  • Organise and oversee machine movements to designated sites, ensuring timely deployment and operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate production performance and update KPI's accordingly.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and planned downtime alongside production requirements.
  • Identify potential delays or problems in the production process and devise ways to overcome them.
  • Act on reported equipment defects and breakdowns.
  • Report on inventory management.
  • Help ensure compliance with industry safety and production standards.

Qualifications

  • Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes.
  • Interest in new software developments and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence successful business outcomes and build relationships.
  • Organisation, problem solving and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver to schedule.
  • Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Full driving licence.
