Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio and video production standards
  • Edit podcast episodes to a polished, professional standard across audio and video formats
  • Upload, schedule, and manage podcast distribution via Acast and other relevant platforms
  • Maintain and update the content tracker daily, including planned episodes, clips, upcoming themes, and production timelines
  • Play a key role in shaping and delivering the wider podcast content strategy
  • Identify opportunities for guest appearances, collaborations, and host placements that support audience growth and brand visibility
  • Maintain strong editorial judgement and brand protection across all published content from a PR and reputational perspective

Sponsor & Ad Read Integration:

  • Integrate approved adreads and sponsor messaging into podcast episodes
  • Review and refine sponsor scripts where required to ensure alignment with tone of voice and audience engagement
  • Export sponsor clips and branded assets for promotional use where required

Podcast Growth & Development:

  • Collaborate with leadership to refine podcast format, content direction, and production workflows
  • Recommend improvements across sound quality, production efficiency, audience retention, and content performance
  • Support growth and optimisation across YouTube, podcast platforms, and social channels
  • Share competitor analysis, best-in-class examples, test-and-learn strategies, and bi-weekly performance insights
  • Take an always-on approach to identifying new marketing, distribution, and cross-promotion opportunities to grow reach and engagement

Visual & Social Content:

  • Create and oversee visual podcast assets including episode thumbnails, graphics, and branding materials
  • Export and format podcast clips for social media platforms, ensuring content is optimised for each channel

Additional Information:

  • This role may require flexibility around recording, filming, and production schedules
  • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping and growing a rapidly scaling podcast and digital media brand

Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in podcast production, content production, digital media, or a similar role
  • Proven experience producing, editing, and publishing long-form video/audio content for YouTube, podcasts, and social platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end podcast production workflows and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, or similar
  • Understanding of social-first content, including creating short-form clips and assets for social media
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, production schedules, and content outputs simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain a polished, professional standard across all content
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with creators and on-screen talent
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements, trends, and growth opportunities
  • Previous experience within podcasts, creator-led brands, or digital media environments is highly desirable
