As a Lead Business Analyst you’ll be a key bridge between our user experience, development and test teams and client stakeholders, focusing on requirements elicitation, solution design, and working as part of an agile team to deliver the final product. You will help guide and advise less experienced members of the BA team and work more closely with the Solutions Architecture team.

We’re looking for people able to rapidly understand complex business environments and services, with the analysis skills to understand people, process and technical requirements and shape new technology solutions. You’ll be surrounded by smart, highly capable people in a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages helping and developing others by sharing knowledge and experience.

We are looking for:

  • Experience as a business analyst in dynamic enterprise environments, preferably involving the delivery of multiple software development streams.
  • Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within high performing Agile development teams, working closely with Product Owners.
  • A sound understanding of both Agile and Waterfall-based project delivery methods.
  • Experience of selecting and applying appropriate analysis techniques to elicit and analyse requirements, developing solutions that deliver real business value.
  • The ability to communicate and influence a variety of business and IT stakeholders at a senior level.
  • A flexible and collaborative approach to meeting business goals.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills.
  • An appreciation of modern software engineering and associated development technologies within the full software development lifecycle.

It would also be great if you have:

  • Experience of working within businesses undertaking digital transformation.
  • Experience of working with user centred design principles and user research techniques.
  • Previous experience with a blue chip or high end technology consultancy.
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g. ISEB).

In return you can expect:

  • 25 days’ annual leave, rising to 30 days with each year of service.
  • Generous family leave policies.
  • Access to an employer pension scheme and Group Life Assurance.
  • A range of optional benefits such as discounted gym membership and a cycle to-work scheme.
  • A meaningful approach to evaluating your performance and providing feedback on your progress.

At Scott Logic, we value the flexibility of remote working alongside the value gained from spending time with our colleagues and clients. In our offices you’ll find employee led clubs and events, as well as free games, books, and refreshments. We have shared values that govern our behaviour toward others and the environment.
