We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key member of our Safety & Assurance team based in our Beattock Office, in the role of Health & Safety Adviser. In this role you will be responsible for supporting safe working on site, with a focus on our own operational harvesting teams. The role includes undertaking site inspections and audits as well as contributing to ensuring the operations facing elements of our health and safety management system reflects best practice and legislative requirements.
About You:
- You'll come from an operational background with experience of working on site in a forestry context, ideally with some health and safety experience.
- Relevant forestry operational competencies.
- Have, or be willing to work toward professional Health & Safety Qualifications.
- Experience of supervising and managing contractors.
- Good knowledge of FISA Guidance.
- Logical systematic thinker with an eye for detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
