Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Operator, located in Tayport. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, conducting quality control checks, and using hand tools. Daily tasks include setting up machines, monitoring production processes, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Effective communication and adherence to safety protocols are also essential components of this role.
Salary – £27,000 – £31,000 per annum
Shifts – 12 hour shift pattern rotating across a 24/7 operating pattern
Benefits – Pension, Profit related bonus, share purchase scheme
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and use of Hand Tools
- Experience in Quality Control and maintaining machinery
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
