We are seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Head of Engineering to lead our metal fabrication department. The Role
As Head of Engineering, you will oversee a busy fabrication department delivering metalwork, scenic construction, and bespoke engineered solutions. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, on time, and within budget. You will provide technical leadership and strategic oversight, managing fabrication workflows, improving processes, and supporting the development and wellbeing of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering and fabrication department in delivering high-quality scenic builds from complex technical drawings
- Plan and coordinate fabrication and build schedules in collaboration with the Workshop Manager
- Maintain exceptional standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship in metal fabrication and scenic construction
- Promote and enforce strong health and safety practices
