Covering a 12-month period of parental leave, we are looking for a new team leader for our Hammersmith based finance team. The role will include management of a team of three working in transactional finance to ensure that supplier and guest payments and refunds are efficiently managed and will also involve a number of reporting responsibilities to the Group Head of Finance and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 3 finance apprentices including allocation of workloads and monitoring of tickets
- Be a point of escalation for the sales team/suppliers where required
- Continue to look for areas to streamline processes
- Ledger management (including accruals, debtors and banks) and month end commission reporting
- Oversight of reconciliation processes such as CMR recs
- Supporting the (HoF) in liaising with the auditors for the year end audit in the UK
- Managing the delivery of samples by the AP team for the auditors
- Construct clear career development plans for each team member and support through coaching, training and review
- Conduct biannual appraisals and more regular informal feedback meetings
- Work closely with the US to ensure sufficient transactional support remains in place despite time zone difficulties
- Review payment runs
- Support the wider finance team as required
- Work across departments where required to ensure processes are as efficient as possible
- Any other adhoc tasks as required
