We are looking for a qualified accountant with a background in practice to join our finance team based in Hammersmith. The role will include a number of reporting responsibilities to the Group Head of Finance, Group CFO and the US VP on a regular basis and will also involve working alongside external advisors on compliance with statutory requirements including audit and tax for trading entities across the UK, US and Asia.
Responsibilities
- US Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to US VP and support the US business with any financial queries they have.
- Manage US banking relationships and accounts.
- Prepare information required for monthly management accounts for the US including gross profit reconciliation.
- Hold monthly meetings with budget holders to ensure accounting records are accurate and complete.
- Balance sheet management of US including monthly bank reconciliations.
- Work alongside US management and group finance teams to prepare annual budget and periodic reforecasts.
- Liaise with FCTG colleagues to ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and other regulatory and risk-based matters.
- Potential requirement to travel to the US 2-3 times a year.
- Key contact for the auditors in UK and responsible for providing audit information and ensuring good project management in order to meet filing and group reporting deadlines.
- Preparation of UK statutory accounts.
- Oversee Senior Financial Account in delivering Singapore audit deliverable and accounts.
- Be the primary person responsible for information provision for tax compliance matters across the group.
- Support Group Head of Finance on corporate secretarial requirements.
- Support on payment authorisations across the group.
- Maintain group risk register.
- Support the Finance team as required.
- Project work as required including helping to drive automation of processes.

- Are ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Have a strong grasp of UK statutory accounting requirements and can navigate them with confidence.
- Have an audit background working with clients in the £50m - £200m turnover range.
- Have a respect for strong control environments and best practice governance.
- Comfortable managing relationships across multiple stakeholders, including internationally.
