Senior Estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator\\n\\nLocation: SW London / Surrey (Hybrid working)\\n\\nSalary: DOE + car allowance\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nWe are seeking a Senior Estimator with construction experience to join a growing roofing contractor specialising in commercial properties in London and across the South East. Roofing experience is essential, ideally experience with roof refurbishment.\\n\\nThe Company\\n\\nThis company is a specialist commercial property roofing company operating across London and the South East. Working as the main contractor, they carry out projects from £50,000 to £2+million for a wide variety of clients such as supermarkets, local authorities, developers, NHS, MoD, universities, colleges, schools, Church of England and many more!\\n\\nThe role will require\\n\\n * Visits and survey prospective sites and take accurate measurements and photos\\n\\n * Assess possible logistic, access or technical issues\\n\\n * Taking off quantities\\n\\n * Speak to clients on any specific requirements\\n\\n * Prepare proposals and tenders in a timely manner\\n\\n * Price additional work for live projects\\n\\n * Keep accurate records throughout the pricing process\\n\\n * Ensure all client communication is recorded on the system\\n\\n * Take a lead role in the department\\n\\nDesired Skills & Qualifications\\n\\n * Must have held an Estimator role within a construction company\\n\\n * Roofing experience is required\\n\\n * Strong IT skills in Excel and sharepoint\\n\\n * Must have a full UK driving licence\\n\\n * Must be able to travel to meet clients across the South East\\n\\n * DBS check will be required\\n\\nSalary & Benefits\\n\\n * Salary is DOE\\n\\n * Car allowance\\n\\n * Hybrid/flexible working\\n\\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\\n\\nKeen to hear about other opportunities like this?
