The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
As a Care Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support in people’s homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.
Your Duties May Include
- Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, showering)
- Helping with meals, eating and drinking
- Supporting social and physical activities
- Booking and accompanying service users to appointments
- Completing clear and accurate care notes
- Building trusted, consistent relationships with service users
Sometimes, you may be the only person a service user sees that day — your role genuinely matters.
