The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support in people’s homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.

Your Duties May Include

  • Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, showering)
  • Helping with meals, eating and drinking
  • Supporting social and physical activities
  • Booking and accompanying service users to appointments
  • Completing clear and accurate care notes
  • Building trusted, consistent relationships with service users

Sometimes, you may be the only person a service user sees that day — your role genuinely matters.
