We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Handler to join our team. The Account Handler will manage a portfolio of client accounts, handling day-to-day enquiries, processing mid-term adjustments, and supporting clients with policy documentation and updates. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and issuing renewal invitations
- Obtaining quotations from insurers
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of renewals
- Providing responsive customer service
- Answering coverage questions
- Liaising with insurers and other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods to help achieve team and business targets
Qualifications
- Strong account management skills, including managing a client portfolio and maintaining long-term relationships
- Previous experience as a Personal Lines Account Handler or in a similar insurance support role
- Proficiency in handling renewals, including gathering information, obtaining quotes, and preparing renewal documentation
- Customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, communicate clearly, and manage expectations professionally
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and system updates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking with clients and insurers
- Experience using Acturis is desirable but not essential
