We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Handler to join our team. The Account Handler will manage a portfolio of client accounts, handling day-to-day enquiries, processing mid-term adjustments, and supporting clients with policy documentation and updates. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and issuing renewal invitations
  • Obtaining quotations from insurers
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of renewals
  • Providing responsive customer service
  • Answering coverage questions
  • Liaising with insurers and other stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures
  • Supporting colleagues during busy periods to help achieve team and business targets

Qualifications

  • Strong account management skills, including managing a client portfolio and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Previous experience as a Personal Lines Account Handler or in a similar insurance support role
  • Proficiency in handling renewals, including gathering information, obtaining quotes, and preparing renewal documentation
  • Customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, communicate clearly, and manage expectations professionally
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and system updates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking with clients and insurers
  • Experience using Acturis is desirable but not essential
