As our new Compliance Manager, you'll lead the development of Scott Bader's first global compliance framework, helping to protect our business while enabling sustainable growth across our international operations.

This is a newly created role and a unique opportunity to build a compliance function from the ground up.

Working closely with our Group General Counsel, you'll partner with leaders across Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance and HR to embed a practical, risk-based compliance culture across our global business.

You'll play a key role in shaping policies, processes and training that support ethical business practices and ensure compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement Scott Bader's global compliance framework and policies.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments and third-party due diligence processes.
  • Partner with Commercial and Procurement teams to embed compliance into business activities.
  • Develop and deliver engaging compliance training and awareness programmes.
  • Monitor compliance performance and report insights to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience building or significantly developing a compliance framework within an international business.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial compliance, including anti-bribery, sanctions, export controls and competition law.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across multiple functions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
  • A relevant qualification in law, compliance, audit or a related discipline.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • International compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Legal background or professional legal qualification.
