Position
As our new HR Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting managers and streamlining HR processes across the business. From preparing employment offers and contracts to managing absences and maintaining accurate records, you’ll ensure day-to-day HR administration runs smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll also be actively involved in recruitment, from posting job adverts through to onboarding new colleagues, helping create a positive candidate and employee experience. Acting as a first point of contact, you’ll respond to HR-related queries with professionalism and care, supporting colleagues and managers alike.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Manage core HR administration including contracts, offers, onboarding, benefits, vendor relationships, and payroll support.
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc HR reports, such as headcount and absence data, to support business insight.
- Ensure HR processes, templates, and documentation are accurate, compliant, and continuously improved.
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
- Collaborate with colleagues across sites, support HR projects, and contribute to works council activities.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Experience in HR administration with working knowledge of a core HRIS
- HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or working towards Level 5)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong IT proficiency, including advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
